Kenya's Brain Drain

According to the United Nations there is a tremendous trend that is taking root in Kenya and Africa as a whole and if necessary steps and not taken to curb this trend Africa and Kenya for that matter faces an unpredictable compound of the luck of the necessary skills for development and the scramble for other developed countries, my guess is, this would be a reaction we all do not want to see take place. What I am talking about is the incredible numbers of savvy, intellectual and ever conscious kenyans moving to different countries around the world mostly to Britain, United States and Canada in search of better lives for themselves and their families. I must confess that I am one of those who moved to the United States to pursue that very goal and soon to graduate. What perplexes me and is mind buggling is the shear fact that we have not congregated as a people to discuss the conditions that are making such a phenomena conducive. May i suggest that the most essential thing that needs to be done is the establishmento of a govenment for the people and by the people. A govenment that is compassionate to its citizenry and ensures that there is prosperity amongst all of it's people as opposed to a few individuals. I know you all have ideas on how to solve this problem, why don't we come together and figure out the solution.
