WHY IS AFRICA STILL BEGGING FROM THE WEST??

For 18 years out the 26 Years that have been on this earth, I thought to myself, " we absolutely need the help of the developed countries for Africa and it's people to develop." Well ladies and gentlemen, I would not have been more wrong on my assumptions. The truth of the matter is Africa is more than capable of taking care of its problems. The difficulties that we currently face are mostly as a result of African leaders who luck vision and have been corrupted by these very same nations that are exploiting us. Think about it, we get loans from this countries that we have to pay back with interest, yet we use those very same monies to buy goods from these nations. Even a primary kid student would tell you that, that is against the fundamentals of a business 101 course.
Africa has got a lot to offer, what we need to be pushing for is opening up of markets for goods that are produced in Africa instead of begging for donor aid. I am positive that most of you know that, some of the aid that we get ends up in a few corrupt government officials as opposed to going into helping the general population that it is intended for. Africans please wake up and see what's around you, we need to rise up wipe out the stigma that face from.
